Kari Noren-Hoshal is a counseling astrologer with over 20 years of experience. She is a graduate of the Creative Choices school of karmic astrology. Kari is also a graduate of the Evolutionary Astrology Network with a certificate in evolutionary astrology. Having grown up in Latin America (Panama, Colombia and Nicaragua) as well as in Cairo, Egypt, Kari became interested in the sacred traditions of indigenous cultures at a young age. She also lived in Milan, Italy for four years where she taught English as a Second Language. Kari speaks fluent Spanish and Italian. She received her BA in Ethnomusicology from New College and masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Nova University. Kari served as vice president for programming for the Baltimore Astrological Society for three years from 2013-2016. An active member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), Kari has presented her views on astrology at national and international conferences such as: Universal Astrology Conference (UAC;) the Northwest Astrology Conference (NORWAC;) The River of Stars Astrology Conference on the Big Island of Hawaii; and has presented her views in workshops across the Mid-Atlantic states for NCGR as well as in Timbavati, South Africa, Pahoa, Hawaii, Bend, Oregon and Amesville, Ohio. Kari currently serves as Director of Astrology of the Sacred World Peace Church and Alliance and has been the Secretary to the Board since 2011. Kari’s free monthly astrology column is available in the SWPC/SWPA Newsletter. She also writes an astrology column for Style Magazine of the Sarasota Herald Tribune. Kari teaches a two-year internship in evolutionary astrology online via Zoom from her home in Sarasota, Florida. She offers regular summer astrology workshops at the White Bison Ranch in Amesville, Ohio.
